NUTR29014 - Assessment of Dietetic Competence

General Information

Unit Synopsis

Aligned with a programmatic assessment approach, this unit provides you with the opportunity to demonstrate your fulfilment of the National Competency Standards (NCS) for Dietitians in Australia (2021). Over your placement units, you have been systematically reflecting on your practice and collecting evidence of your learning. In this unit, you will submit your finalised course e-portfolio for assessment against the Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs) and NCS. You will also be invited to attend a Course Evaluation Meeting, a supportive conversation where you can discuss your learning and achievements. Our approach is designed to help you succeed. With a growth mindset, some students may need additional placement (4 weeks) to assist them in meeting the NCS. Following successful demonstration of the NCS, you will be able to progress to your final capstone unit.
