Feedback
I just enjoyed the unit. It was very well delivered by a very experienced lecturer. RAMS is the subject that I always wanted to learn I have finally accomplish that very well. Thankyou lecturer, tutor, coordinator and CQU.
Recommendation
The lecturer will be encouraged to maintain his reputation by delivering unit contents effectively.
Action Taken
Maintain the reputable lecturer and good teaching practices were maintained.

Feedback
The lecturer had expansive knowledge of the topic but the unit was focused around the program and not so much as to relate to current workplace practices. I felt a lot of time and effort was put into learning the program and not the topic itself.
Recommendation
The lecturer will be advised to align theory with its application using AWB software and organise software licences well in advance.
Action Taken
The lecturer was advised to demonstrate the implementation of theory using the software.

Feedback
The unit relied heavily on AWB software, which may have overshadowed the broader RAMS concepts.
Recommendation
The teaching team will improve the delivery to make sure theoretical principles are clearly explained before showing how they’re applied in AWB. Striking a better balance between theory and practice will help students see how the software fits into the bigger picture of RAMS frameworks.

Source: Teaching team observation
Feedback
Students consistently performed well, and the teaching team observed that the current rubric provides highly structured guidance, potentially reducing critical thinking in assessments.
Recommendation
The marking rubric will be reviewed to ensure it encourages deeper analysis and problem-solving without steering students too much towards the right answers. Trial improvements will be implemented in the upcoming terms to improve clarity while fostering more independent thinking.
