Unit Synopsis
Industry placement provides the student with a paid, supervised experience of work in the Information Technology industry. A student on industry placement is required to apply knowledge and skills developed within academic courses to an industry environment. In addition to the work undertaken during placement, the student is required to maintain a diary of the experiences, and to reflect upon those experiences. Each student will identify their strengths and weaknesses from feedback received from industry supervisors.
