This qualification is suited to VET in Schools (VETiS) students with no previous connection to the electrical industry and who would like to gain foundation skills and knowledge for possible entry into an Electrical apprenticeship. This pre-apprenticeship course covers competencies for a work entry program providing grounding for work in any electrotechnology discipline.
There are no entry requirements for this course. Although students wishing to complete and receive QCE Points will need to commence studies at the commencement of Year 11.

Yes. Your history of study, skills and experience does matter. Consideration is given to your prior life and work experiences as well as formal and informal training. This may be applied using the national standard for Mutual Recognition or through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Documentary evidence will be requested.
