Course Details

Course Summary

Throughout this Skill Set, students will acquire assessor competencies to meet Standards for RTOs requirements in a workplace environment. This accredited skill set is suited for trainers who train small groups of people, delivering accredited or non-accredited content and will enhance the ability to engage learners more effectively. While this skill set does not meet standards to be a qualified trainer at an RTO, the units within this skill set can be credited to the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Students undertaking this course will study the accredited units:

Requirements - To Be Eligible

For your application to be considered, you must meet the following entry requirements.

Entry Requirements

Students must hold a vocational qualification and must have recent and relevant industry experience. Students must also have access to people in the workplace so that training sessions can be delivered for assessment purposes. However, this does not need to be a commercial workplace and can be any business or not for profit organisation where staff members require training to undertake specific tasks.

It is recommended that students have sound language and literacy skills, and at least basic word processing abilities. Students will also be required to have access to a computer with access to the internet.

These units from TAE Training and Education Training Package, when used with relevant vocational competencies, meet industry requirements for assessors. These units provide credit towards TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Students will receive a Statement of Attainment.
