TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment reflects the roles of entry-level vocational education and training (VET) teachers, trainers and assessors who are delivering training services to vocational learners and assessment services to candidates. The roles may be undertaken by those working in registered training organisations (RTOs), enterprises, community organisations, schools and other VET provision contexts.
This qualification meets the minimum education requirement for trainers and assessors operating without supervision under applicable VET legislation, frameworks and/or standards.

Online - this qualification is delivered via our online platform, Moodle, over 72 weeks part time.
The delivery of this qualification is divided into 6 clusters (groups) of units, with a total of 12 units.
This online program will provide group zoom sessions as scheduled. Where participants cannot join at the specified time, a recording will be available for access.
This qualification is competency and cluster-based, and students can complete their training sooner if they have reached the required skill level.
Students must successfully complete all components of the assessment tasks within the qualification to be deemed competent.

RPL only - no training occurs.
RPL involves an assessment process of an individual’s previously obtained skills and knowledge that has been achieved outside the formal education and training system. The duration is dependent on evidence collection by the candidate and approval of evidence by the CQUniversity assessor.
