This online micro-credential describes the processes of engagement with perpetrators of domestic and family violence, which is primarily perpetrated by men against women. You will explore the theoretical underpinnings of men’s behaviour change programs in Queensland programs, their effectiveness and how they operate within the broader service system to eliminate violence against women and their families. This knowledge will support you in your role in facilitating/contributing to behaviour change programs. This micro-credential aligns with a knowledge component required of facilitators (at all levels) and Victim Advocates to help them comply with the requirements of Queensland’s Department of Justice and Attorney-General for funded perpetrator intervention services.
This online micro-credential provides a non-creditable micro-credential and digital badge which can be shared to your social networks and displayed in your professional portfolio.
There are no specific entry requirements.
