Course Summary

This online micro-credential is aimed at students who wish to advance their knowledge and skills in using ficto-memoir to fictionalise an adverse personal life experience as a tool to explore possibilities for personal change. The micro-credential explores the key concepts of identity, perspective and focusses on developing storytelling and creative life writing skills. Learners are able to record their emotional affect before and after the course to assess any changes. Learners will explore creative strategies for elevating subordinate life stories and creating fictional characters and events to explore possibilities for change.
