This micro-credential provides participants with the opportunity to learn about sexual victimisation in childhood within the family context. It provides a basis for understanding the different forms of intrafamilial child sexual abuse and analyse attitudes and beliefs, which may be based on misconceptions. The micro-credential will examine the many impacts of victimisation, discuss research challenges and variations in prevalence data, and present implications for practice.
