Dementia is the term used to describe the symptoms of a large group of illnesses that cause a progressive decline in a person’s functioning. It is a broad term used to describe a loss of memory, intellect, rationality and social skills. It is estimated that there are more than 413,000 people in Australia with dementia. This online micro-credential identifies the common types of dementia and outlines models of dementia that can be used in any clinical or community setting.

This is a non-creditable micro-credential which is awarded a digital badge and Certificate of Completion which can be shared to your social networks and displayed in your professional portfolio.

The fee for this micro-credential is $45.
