This online, on-campus or workplace delivery Short Course addresses fundamental skills and knowledge required by supervisors to identify occupational health and safety (OHS) hazards, assess OHS risks, and develop and implement OHS risk controls according to organisational requirements and national OHS laws in Australian states and territories.
This course applies to supervisors who are required to identify and implement solutions to OHS hazards which may include projects or operations within a section of the organisation.
The fee for this short course online will be $90.00.
The fee for this short course on-campus (Campuses - Mackay, Rockhampton, Gladstone, Brisbane, Sydney) will be $200.00.
The fee for Workplace Delivery will be negiotiated.
There are no specific entry requirements, however, students enrolling in this course should work in a Supervisory role.

This course provides Professional Development for Supervisors.
Undertaking this course enables students to meet their Continuing Professional Development obligations and industry update requirements in their profession. Upon successful completion of the course students will be awarded 6 (online) or 8 (on-campus or on-site) Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours and a CQUniversity Certificate of Completion.
After successful completion of this short course, students may choose to enrol and complete the assessment for BSBWHS404 - Contribute to WHS hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control and continue to study other units offered in BSB41415 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety.
