PDC151656 First Nations Cultural Competency Training (Level 3) has been designed to strengthen participant knowledge and skills that enable application of appropriate professional skills and experience to function effectively and respectfully in an intercultural context. The focus of this training is on developing participant skillsets and attributes required for professional engagement and communication that is responsive to the requirements of First Nations staff and students, and to external stakeholders. This micro-credential focuses on strengthening participant capabilities in developing culturally competent workplace practices and the broader organisational design features that enable this outcome.
PDC151656 First Nations Cultural Competency Training (Level 3) has been designed to assist participants to develop deepened understandings of the ways that First Nations peoples are excluded and/or othered at an organisational level. Participants are taken through a journey of learning that is focused on the variety of ways cultural competency is demonstrated and the leadership required to expand professional practice to the organisational service context.
This micro-credential is awarded a digital badge and Certificate of Completion which can be shared to your social networks and displayed in participant professional portfolios.
