PDC136126 - Lift Mentor and Review

Version Effective: 31st of August, 2023
Course Details

Course Summary

The LIFT Scheme has been developed to utilise the framework offered by the PSF 2023 to offer bespoke development opportunities that will help educators achieve Fellowship ambitions and enhance their work as educators. We provide applicants with peer and one on one mentor support to focus their application on the needs of each descriptor to progress their application.

We are also aware that people who become Fellows often feel this is just the start of their development journey and most are keen to support others in becoming Fellows. This training is for those who have attained Fellowship status (Associate Fellow, Fellow, Senior Fellow, or Principal Fellow). Becoming an Accredited Mentor, you will provide support to applicants across all discipline areas, as they progress their application. Accredited Mentors have a bounded time allocation for this activity, that will be negotiated with their relevant supervisor. Mentors will not be involved in the reviewing of any applicants they have supported and advised on.

Our micro-credentials are aligned to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
