Course Summary

Upon successful completion of this course you will have the skills and knowledge required to perform servicing and maintenance of vehicles in an automotive service or repair business.
You will also develop your employability skills including communication, teamwork, problem-solving, initiative and enterprise, planning and organising, self-management and hands on skills relevant to the automotive industry. Your studies within this course will be assessment focused.

AUR20520 includes practical tasks that are to be undertaken in an Automotive environment that can be in a business (paid or voluntary) or in a simulated environment in an educational setting.  The practical tasks are observed and signed off by a workplace supervisor or teacher, who must meet the ASQA requirements, on a Co-Assessment basis with CQUniversity.

For your application to be considered, you must meet the following entry requirements.

Entry Requirements

Completion of the bksb (Basic Key Skills Builder) online literacy and numeracy assessment prior to enrolment, unless the student has completed an equal or higher level course.

There are no other entry requirements for this course.
