In this micro-credential you will explore how your leadership style impacts on the work culture. Current issues that a leader needs to consider when creating a work culture that supports equity and diversity will be explored. Innovative options to support a team to work effectively and collaboratively will be reviewed.

Requirements - To Be Eligible

For your application to be considered, you must meet the following entry requirements.

To gain entry under the CCIQ Scholarship eligible participants must be:

• A CCIQ Member OR a member of a Local Chamber of Commerce OR a CQUniversity Student OR a CQUniversity Alumnus
• 15 years of age or older
• Permanently reside in QLD
• Be an Australian or NZ citizen or hold a valid visa
• NOT BE a secondary school student, CCIQ/CQUniversity Employee or Government employee including government departments, agencies and local councils.

Undertaking this micro-credential enables students to meet their Continuing Professional Development obligations and industry update requirements in their profession. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be awarded Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours and a Certificate of Completion.

CCIQ participants: The Entrepreneurship for Small Business Suite is designed to give CCIQ members who are small business owners or decision-makers support and increased confidence in a fluid environment. For some participants this content will be the refresher they need to help them adapt their business, for others this content will be new knowledge to help them optimise their business operations. Content is designed for practical application, allowing participants to immediately visualise how they will apply their new knowledge directly to their business.

CQU Students and Alumni:  These participants may not be business owners yet, but intend to be in the future. This suite of micro-credentials provides a strong foundation for these participants, allowing them to continue the planning process and work toward their business aspirations with increased confidence.
