Academic integrity is an important aspect of teaching and learning for us at CQUniversity, as it is for other educational institutions world-wide. We are committed to fostering awareness of academic integrity to empower both employees and students to become champions of the values and practices of academic integrity. This course provides you with an overview of academic integrity information, issues and guidance for academic staff in their teaching practice. Academic integrity, as you will learn in this course, means acting with the values of honesty, trust, fairness, respect, responsibility and courage in CQUniversity's education, training and research communities. Academic integrity applies to all levels of education - from certificates to PhD. It is a shared responsibility across the University, requiring academic and professional/administrative support staff to promote, model and uphold the values and principles of academic integrity. As you work your way through this course, you will reflect on your role and how academic integrity relates to you.
