Unit Synopsis
This graduate clinical unit builds on the sonographic skills, knowledge and attitudes developed during the Bachelor of Medical Sonography. You will perform diagnostic scans in areas appropriate for an ‘Entry Level Sonographer’ (as described by the Australian Sonography Association) to specified levels of competency. You will evaluate findings to formulate a differential diagnosis and initiate further investigation when appropriate. You will engage with your clinical supervisor in a critical appraisal of your professional behaviour.
