EDED20518 - Capstone Project in Educational Leadership

General Information

Unit Synopsis

In this unit, you will build on design and development work completed in earlier units to investigate a policy or practice issue in educational leadership relevant to your professional context. This will culminate in a substantial research-based project, capstone experience and/or piece of scholarship that draws on your advanced theoretical knowledge, skills and practice. You are required to identify appropriate research questions to frame the study. You will liaise with a supervisor to develop and implement your project. Your research findings should be presented as a research report or a conference paper, journal article or artefact such as a professional learning resource. Discussion about your research findings should indicate ways in which the research might inform policy and practice in your context or educational jurisdiction. To enrol in this capstone unit, you must have completed units worth 24 Credit Points including EDED20497 Orientation to Educational Leadership, EDED20500 Engaging with Educational Research, and EDED20289 The Research Process for Educators or equivalent.
