AVAT13025 - Aviation Placement

General Information

Unit Synopsis

Aviation Placement is designed to provide you with practical experience in the application of theoretical concepts and knowledge in a host organisation in Australia that has relevance to your career goals. The number of hours expected over the course of the unit is up to 240 hours. You will be assessed on the completion of specific work during your placement that is of mutual benefit to you and the organisation. You must work with your placement provider to complete a placement plan that is beneficial to the provider and of sufficient technical content to meet the academic requirements of the course. During the placement, you will go out into the workforce to apply and practice the skills and knowledge you've gained at CQU. Placement prepares you for accreditation as a professional in your field and supports you to be 'work ready' when you leave university.
