The Bachelor of Property is accredited by the Australian Property Institute, providing the educational requirements necessary for the certifications Property Practitioner (CPP), Practising Valuer (CPV), Property Manager (CPM), Development Practitioner (CDP), Facilities Manager (CFacM), and Asset Manager (CAM).

To study Professional Practice Major, you must be employed with an employer who has committed to supporting your progress through the Bachelor of Property and will provide professional supervision and mentorship during your major and associated project. As a result, entry to this major is restricted. 

If you are approved to complete this major, the skills that you learn within the core of the course will be applied to professional projects, augmented with learning and assessment support from CQUniversity. To support the projects, you will also learn about appropriate research methods, such as Action Research methods.  As you progress through this major, you will learn appropriate research and communication skills. You will apply these skills and your discipline knowledge from the core of Bachelor of Property towards the successful conclusion of your projects. 

To progress through this major, you will need a Certified Practicing Valuer supervisor provided by the employer. Experience gained through this major may also be recognised by the Australian Property Institute and Valuers Registration Board of Queensland as mentored work experience.
