The degree consists of 24 units making a total of 144 credit points.
There are seven core Criminology units, three elective Criminology units and a choice of CRIM13003 Criminology Research Capstone or CRIM13004 Criminology Work Placement Capstone unit. This makes a total of 11 Criminology units.
There are nine Psychology units, two elective units at Level 2 and two elective units at Level 3; making a total of 13 Psychology units. The elective Psychology units are grouped into Level 2 electives and Level 3 units to ensure students study the correct number of units at each level to meet accreditation requirements of the Psychology component of the CL55 Bachelor of Science (Criminology and Psychology) course.
NOTE: To meet the course's Psychology accreditation requirements, Psychology units undertaken must include 12 credit points (2 units) at Level 1, at least 24 credit points (4 units) at Level 2 and at least 24 credit points (4 units) at Level 3. Within these guidelines PSYC11008, PSYC11009, PSYC12047, PSYC12048, PSYC13015, PSYC13017 and PSYC13020 are compulsory units of study. Overall you must undertake at least 60 credit points (10 Psychology units) at Level 2 and Level 3 combined. Failure to satisfy these requirements will result in non eligibility to graduate.
