Overview
This unit explores how emerging technologies are reshaping the digital economy, with a particular focus on their capacity to transform industries through decentralisation, transparency, and increased efficiency. Throughout the unit, you will analyse real-world applications and case studies to understand how these technologies are influencing everything from supply chains and financial services to governance and consumer engagement. By engaging with both the technical and strategic dimensions of digital transformation, you will develop the ability to critically assess opportunities and risks, and to propose innovative, future-oriented solutions for businesses operating in an increasingly digital and interconnected global economy.
