Attendance Requirements
All on-campus students are expected to attend scheduled classes - in some units, these classes are identified as a mandatory (pass/fail) component and attendance is compulsory. International students, on a student visa, must maintain a full time study load and meet both attendance and academic progress requirements in each study period (satisfactory attendance for International students is defined as maintaining at least an 80% attendance record).

Feedback, Recommendations and Responses
Every unit is reviewed for enhancement each year. At the most recent review, the following staff and student feedback items were identified and recommendations were made.
Feedback from Unit Coordinator Observation.
During 2025 there was a noticeable rise in academic integrity cases, particularly from international students.
Additional support will be provided to international students to mitigate potential issues which may lead to breaches in academic integrity.
Feedback from Unit Coordinator Observation, direct contact (email), and Student (SUTE) Feedback.
Discrepancies between local on-campus classroom animation exercises and those defined on the unit website caused confusion for several students. As a result, there were instances of students handing in the incorrect activities for formal assessment.
To ensure consistency, on-campus staff will guide students through the formal weekly activities and practical assessment tasks as outlined on the unit website. Furthermore, local staff will provide continuous opportunities for feedback, allowing students to develop and iterate on their animation work prior to final submission.
